The FlexiSpot E7 Plus standing desk is armed with four legs, support for a higher maximum height, impressive weight-bearing capacity, and dependable controls that should lead to it being a perfect addition to a workspace or PC gaming zone. However, how has it fared during my real-world testing? Here is my review.
The four-legged advantage
A big highlight of the E7 Plus is the aforementioned four-legged design. As seen with some of the higher-end FlexiSpot desks, four legs are more preferable to two as it helps limit wobble, especially at taller heights. At 6’7”, I often have to max standing desks out to their maximum height. Desks with two legs do often wobble to a distracting degree, so four legs is certainly going to be appreciated by taller folks out there.

The height can be set from 26” up to 51.6”. As for how much weight the E7 Plus supports, while still allowing full motor movement, you’re looking at 440 lbs. All-in-all, those specs are pretty impressive and should surely suit the vast majority of users.
Following a speedy-enough build with two people involved, I was pleasantly surprised by the low noise of the motors and relatively quick speed of the height adjustment.
Take control

The control pad has four programmable presets with which users can assign different desk heights. I have a setting for me sitting and standing, and also my wife sitting and standing. This is great because you don’t have to memorise the exact numbered height you prefer. Set it once and then forget it, because the control pad never will. The USB-A charging port is also appreciated, though maybe USB-C would be more appropriate nowadays.
A particular highlight with this four-legged desk is how little the frame obstructs the back edge of the desktop. Users who want to mount multiple monitors on arms, cable management boxes, a CPU holder, or a multitude of other accessories should find that the desk frame shouldn’t pose as big of an issue when screwing things into place.
Some complaints

The main downside of the FlexiSpot E7 Plus appears during the build process, where the sheer weight of the frame can make construction tough and the assembled product tough to maneuver, especially in smaller office spaces.
Another small nitpick is the condition of the desktops upon delivery. Your mileage may vary on this, but I’ve been lucky enough to receive multiple FlexiSpot desks over the years and this makes it the third time where the desktop finish has been damaged, albeit only lightly, seemingly during shipping. Ultimately, I don’t think the packaging is protective enough.

Final Verdict
Starting at $499.99, the FlexiSpot E7 Plus offers strong stability, solid performance, and useful controls that make day-to-day use simple. While the heavy frame can make setup more difficult and the desktop packaging could be improved, its overall design and functionality make it a reliable standing desk option for a wide range of setups.
