Yes, you can break those cracked walls in Journey to the Savage Planet. And they always have some goodies behind them that range from the orange goo that raises your health and stamina to a collectible to some good old fashion crafting materials. But how do you get crack these walls open to get their goodies?

ALSO: How Journey to the Savage Planet was inspired by archaeology and Assassin’s Creed 3

First, you need to find a bombegranate. They are the purple bulbous plants that explode when you shoot them. You can go to the big bulbous ones, grab a singular bombegranate plant from it, and chuck it at the wall to break it apart. You’ll have to be fast since they only last a few seconds before, well… you know.

This method works for some of the cracked walls, especially the ones in the beginning of the game. However, this isn’t going to cut it for the rest of the game where the walls aren’t within close proximity to a bombegranate plant.

But you aren’t completely out of luck. You’ll need to craft the upgrade that lets you store bombegranates on you at all times. Just follow the mission early on that tasks you with doing so and you’ll be able to break any cracked wall in the game, granted you have the proper amount of bombegranates. Now you can tackle any cracked wall and collect all of the things they are protecting.
