How to unlock Ronin in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Figuring out how to unlock Ronin in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare should be on most people’s radar because of how cool he is. He’s a “one-man army” and one of the few new Operators players can get in Modern Warfare. But how do you get Ronin in Modern Warfare?

You don’t unlock Ronin in Modern Warfare as much as you buy him as is the case with some of the Operators. Currently, you can only get him by purchasing him in the store. He’s part of the “Ronin Operator Pack” that may or not be in the store (so give it a look). He is currently available right now in the store for 2,400 COD Points and comes with a whole host of cosmetics from calling cards to emblems to executions.

There will be some other ways to unlock him down the line. Much like Ghost and any other Operator, if you miss the associated battle pass or don’t buy the bundle, you can also unlock an Operator by earning a skin for them. This won’t unlock every skin for them but it will let you play as a version of them. For example, you can unlock Ghost by buying Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, but it isn’t the exact Ghost from Season 2 as it is the skin from Modern Warfare 2. There’s also a Mara skin in the Season 3 battle pass, meaning you can get her even if you didn’t in Season 1.

There currently aren’t any other Ronin skins, but those will likely come later in some other season. So even if you miss buying him this time around, just keep your eyes peeled for another opportunity later down the line.
