Valve Database Sheds Light On Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3 Development

Valve's bug-tracking database, Jira, has fresh details on the development of Half-Life 3Left 4 Dead 3, and the Source 2 engine.

According to the database, Erick Wolpaw, the writer on both Portal and Left 4 Dead, is apparently working on Half-Life 3, as well as level designer John Guthrie, composer Kelly Bailey, and writer Marc Laidlaw.

As far as the Left 4 Dead 3 team in concerned, a number of folks from the group involved in Half-Life 3 are involved, as well as Portal 2 lead designer Weier, and System Shock designer Doug Church. Suffice it to say, Valve's got some all-star talent involved in both titles.

Yesterday, we reported that Valve registered a trademark for Half-Life 3, so with this additional bit of news about the game's development, there's reason to hope we'll hear more about Valve's next entry in its highly acclaimed FPS series sometime in the near future.
