Nintendo Direct Airing Tomorrow

Nintendo has announced that it will be holding a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, December 18th, at 6AM Pacific, 9AM Eastern.

In it, the Big N promises to "share information focusing on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS software launching through spring 2014." As such, we can expect to see Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Here's to hoping we get a bit of Smash Bros. news as well.

Wii U sales reports are coming in for the month of November, and things aren't looking so good for Nintendo's tablet-centric console. Could the company have something up its sleeve for tomorrow's Direct that may instill some hope in gamers for the future of Wii U?

Let us know what you think Nintendo must do in 2014 to turn things around for Wii U in the comments below.
