With so much left unresolved, some fans are wondering if there’s a The Boys Season 3 Episode 9 release date. After all, the event the season led up to misfired, and Homelander got off relatively unscathed. There are also unresolved plot lines, like the one with Stormfront’s suicide, that have led fans to think there’s got to be more left to the third season.
Will there be a The Boys Season 3 Episode 9?
Unfortunately, The Boys Season 3 concludes with the eighth episode. While the show has been confirmed for a fourth season, there’s been no word from Amazon of a season 3 episode 9 or even a spin-off like The Boys Presents: Varsity.
Obviously, there’s a lot of unfinished business at the conclusion of the third season. Homelander is no worse for the wear, and Butcher has pushed Ryan completely over to his side. Maeve is powerless due to Soldier Boy’s radiation blast and is going into hiding. The Seven is in weird shape, as Black Noir is dead, Starlight has left the team, and A-Train has regained the full use of his powers.
There’s also the matter of Victoria Neuman and her plans. We don’t know what her ultimate goal is or even what powers Compound V gave to her daughter. She continues to play all sides, but to what end?
Also, Homelander seems to actually care for Ryan, so will he become a better person by being a dad? He’s obviously beyond redemption and crazy, but it’s possible that his relationship with Ryan could strengthen his bond to humanity enough so that he isn’t a complete megalomaniac.
Finally, there’s Butcher. Despite knowing Compound V24 will kill him, he continues to dose it. Butcher has caused irreparable damage to his body, and Hughie may have as well. So, we’re left wondering what will happen to them.
Unfortunately, it seems like we’ll have to wait until The Boys Season 4 to get the answers to these questions.
