The VITURE Luma Pro XR glasses are the company’s latest entry, boasting sharper visuals, a wider field of view, and better comfort. While the previous product was great, it wasn’t without criticism, and it’s clear that VITURE has taken feedback into consideration while putting together its new range of products. After spending tens of hours gaming with VITURE’s latest pair of XR glasses, it’s time for my review.
Crystal clear
Let’s not beat around the bush: the main highlight of the VITURE Luma Pro is the bumped-up resolution combined with the increased FOV. On paper, the spec increase from 1080p to 1200p and 46 degrees to 52 degrees might not sound ground-breaking, but when applied to this technology, the difference is next-generational.
The overall increased clarity is a game-changer, especially when dealing with smaller text sizes. VITURE describes it as “4K-like,” and I’m inclined to agree.
Get more immersed

Another upgrade worthy of highlighting is the electrochromic film. With previous versions, users had to manually clip on blackout shades. With the Luma Pro, a simple button push causes the lenses to dim, aiding immersion and really making the micro-OLED screens pop.
I’m a massive fan of how users can tweak the level of immersion by dimming the lenses or lowering the volume of the glasses’ superb audio. It’s the perfect middle ground between being fully embedded with a VR headset and closed-back headphones, and gaming on a TV, which isn’t always possible.
The setup process

Depending on the device you’re pairing the Luma Pro to, setup can be as simple as plugging in a single cable. For example, with my Android phone, I connected the single cable and enjoyed a massive expanded screen on which I could play mobile games and watch movies, TV shows, and YouTube videos.
Other gaming handhelds like the ROG Ally are just as easy to pair, but one exception is the Nintendo Switch 2. While the VITURE Luma Pro does support Nintendo’s latest console, users will require the (bought separately) Pro Mobile Dock. Though it’s a shame it’s necessary, this dock is a handy bit of kit, incorporating a battery bank and HDMI/USB-C passthrough. VITURE made lemonade with the lemons that Nintendo provided!
Oozing polish

From its website to its packaging to the hardware itself, VITURE delivers an impressively polished experience. It all feels very premium and the Luma Pro continues that trend with a fancy translucent frame and tasteful RGB lighting. It’s a good-looking product that sits well on the face, boasting greater adjustability that should make it more comfortable for more people.
After using the Luma Pro to watch many movies and play many games, I’m happy to report that VITURE’s latest XR product is a marked improvement over the previous model, with the company clearly pushing things in the right direction. Prioritizing visual quality for improvement is greatly appreciated and it results in better immersion across movies, TV shows, and games.
Though I’ve used it solely as an entertainment product, as that’s most appropriate for this review on GameRevolution, it is worth noting that the Luma Pro can be used for work. Users can combine the XR experience with a PC or laptop and enjoy an extended desktop experience. The increased resolution of the Luma Pro would undoubtedly come in useful when typing up emails and other work tasks.
The nitpicks

When it comes to downsides, the main drawback of the Luma Pro is the audio quality. While they are perfectly functional, they don’t quite match the high level of quality of the displays, so there’s a little bit of contrast there. With that said, their inoffensive nature does mean that there’s very little sound leakage, so those sitting or lying next to you should go undisturbed.
The only other downside is that some promised features aren’t yet available. These should come at some point down the line, though potential buyers are always advised to make a purchase based on what’s here now, rather than what’s to come.

Final Verdict
At $499, the VITURE Luma Pro is a premium piece of XR tech that about justifies its price with meaningful upgrades, thoughtful design, and an impressively immersive experience. The jump in resolution and field of view alone puts it in a class above its predecessor, and features like electrochromic dimming and a sleek, comfortable design round out the package. While the onboard audio could use an upgrade and a few features are still pending, what’s available today is already excellent. For gamers and media lovers looking for a portable, high-quality XR display, the Luma Pro is an easy recommendation.
