Xbox Mineral Camo Wireless Controller Leaked Ahead of Tomorrow’s Reveal

Microsoft looks set to announce another color variant of the Xbox Series X|S controller tomorrow, although it seems to have leaked at ahead of time thanks to certain retailers. The Mineral Camo controller is expected to have similar features to the Daystrike Camo controller previously released back in May 2021, only with a blue color scheme.

What we know about the Mineral Camo Xbox Series X|S controller

Mineral Camo Controller Listing

The Mineral Camo Xbox Series X|S wireless controller will feature a “bold mineral blue, bright purple, aqua, and dark purple camouflage pattern” according to a now removed store listing on Canadian store Microplay. As seen in the image above, captured by Tech4Gamers, the controller looks extremely similar to the Daystrike Camo controller, so we can only assume it will come with the same features, such as the hybrid D-pad, dedicated share button, and textured grip on the triggers, bumpers, and back case. The controller will be compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and iOS.

The Mineral Camo controller will be the fourth in the camo controller collection alongside the aforementioned Daystrike controller and the Xbox One Arctic Camo and Night Ops Camo controllers. According to the store listing, the Mineral Camo controller will start shipping tomorrow, September 27, and this would imply Microsoft is planning to announce and stealth drop the controller onto storefronts the same day. The price of the listing on the Canadian website is CA$79.99. However, the Daystrike Camo controller retailed for US$69.99 (currently on sale at $59.99), so we’re assuming the Mineral Camo controller will be priced at US$69.99 too.

In other news, HBO has revealed a teaser trailer for The Last of Us TV series in time for The Last of Us day 2022. Elsewhere, a white Xbox Series X console was spotted in the latest advert for the Logitech Astro A30 headset.
