Hearthstone Exits Beta, Play the Final Build Now

Blizzard has confirmed that its free-to-play card-battling game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is no longer in beta. That's right, the full game proper is now available for both PC and Mac.

"We saw some reports early on that Hearthstone might destroy the planet," Blizzard's Mike Morhaime said jokingly. "We're pleased to see that the game has been released and the planet is still here… though we apologize for all the lost productivity."

The company has also assured mobile users that a version for iOS, Android, and Windows-based platforms will be available at some point in the future.

You can't rush Blizzard, but it's always nice to know that what they craft will be worth the wait; the studio has a lot on its plate, after all. Don't forget that a new Diablo expansionWoW expansion, and MOBA are all still coming as well!
