Microsoft Teasing Japanese-Developed Xbox One Exclusive

Microsoft exec Phil Spencer is hyping up a major release for Xbox One that promises to appeal to the Japanese gaming crowd.

"I’m very excited about the announcement of the release window in Japan. An unique exclusive title for Xbox One is going to be released by an awesome Japanese studio," Spencer told Famitsu (via DualShockers). "I’m looking forward to go to Tokyo Game Show this year, and I want to show everyone something never seen before. Stay tuned!"

Whether or not Xbox One will find any amount of success in Japan when it launches in the territory remains to be seen, but you certainly can't fault the company for trying. At the very least, gamers can look forward to what sounds like a very interesting Japanese-developed title exclusive to Xbox One. Remember how awesome Lost Odyssey was?

Tokyo Game Show is still a ways off. Fortunately, E3 will be here before you know it, and Microsoft plans to bring games, games, and more games.
