Darksiders Creative Director Says Franchise Isn’t Dead

Darksiders, the action adventure series from Vigil Games, will live on over at Nordic, according to creative director Joe Madureira.

"DS is not dead!" he exclaimed in a post on Facebook. "The new owner, Nordic seems very committed to continuing the series. As far as my involvement, I can't say at this point. Hopefully we will all have exciting news about the franchise soon!"

Nordic Games acquired to rights to the Darksiders IP when THQ was shut down and its properties were auctioned off. As a fan of the first two games, I must admit, I'm delighted to hear that a third entry could already be in the works.
