Monster Hunter 4G, Final Fantasy Explorers Hitting 3DS Later This Year in Japan

Today's 3DS-centric Nintendo Direct for the Japanese audience brought with it two major announcements.

First off, Monster Hunter 4G got a release date. This Capcom-developed title will be hitting the Big N's handheld device on October 11th, pleasing a very large portion of the gaming populace in Japan.

Second, Square Enix's upcoming Final Fantasy Explorers got a release window. The game will be releasing in Japan sometime this winter. Unfortunately, no firm date was revealed, and gamers outside of the region still need to keep their fingers crossed that it will ever make its way west.
