LEGO has delighted collectors and dog lovers alike with the recent reveal of its new Golden Retriever Puppy set. A new addition to its collection of cute brick-built pet animals, this set features 2,102 pieces and allows builders to bring an almost realistic furry animal to life.
LEGO unveils new puppy set for dog lovers
The #11384 Golden Retriever Puppy has joined LEGO Icons’ growing lineup of furry companions, which already includes the #21349 Tuxedo Cat, #43269 101 Dalmatians Puppy, and #43247 Young Simba from “The Lion King.” Unlike the animated Dalmatian and Simba sets, however, this new release is based on a real dog and one of the most beloved breeds. Priced at $139.99, it will be available for purchase on LEGO.com and local LEGO stores from February 1, 2026.
Just like its charming predecessors, the Golden Retriever Puppy is sure to win over fans. It stands over 11.5 inches tall, like the other LEGO pets. While the 101 Dalmatians Puppy could be displayed in a standing position, this new set only features a sitting position. However, it has some new interesting features like a detachable tongue, a closable mouth, posable ears, head, tail, and even a front paw. Builders can remove the tongue and store it in the puppy’s back.
After mastering the rounded structure in sets, LEGO has also managed to pull off the fur-like appearance in this set. Lots of studs and different layered slopes helped the brand achieve this. It also features toe beans under its paws and a green collar with a golden medallion around its neck.
The adorable model can be put on display as a centerpiece in any space, including homes and offices. Builders can use the LEGO Builder app, as it offers 3D building instructions. It is designed specifically for adults and can be pre-ordered on the official website now.
