What Are You Playing? November 22nd, 2017

There’s some downtime this week in terms of new video game releases, with developers and publishers allowing us to catch our breath after what has been a relentless series of stellar new games.

As such, I’ve been continuing to sink my teeth into Star Wars Battlefront 2. Though we gave it a 2.5 in our review, there is still some fun to be had in its multiplayer mode (particularly its Starfighter Assault mode, which I will be fanboying over in a feature tomorrow), if you can look past its incredibly wonky progression system. I know for some that’s a deal breaker, but I’ve been enjoying myself in spite of its many flaws.

Elsewhere, our Lead Editor Jason Faulkner has been playing through Skyrim VR and Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV, while GR’s Cody Perez has been playing the LA Noire Switch remaster. Jason has also been spending plenty of time with Xenoblade Chronicles 2, so look forward to our review of that highly anticipated RPG next Thursday.

But that’s enough about us. What are you playing this week?
