At the mode select screen, highlight "1P Play" and press Right, Right, Right, 
Right. Now highlight "Tournament" and press Right. Then highlight "Course Edit" 
and press Left, Left. Now highlight "Option" and press Left, Left, Left, Left, 
Left, Left. Now highlight "1P Play" and press X. You will hear the crowd cheer 
to confirm. You will begin the game with seven lives instead of three.
