Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Guide: How to Get the Sleeper Simulant Exotic

We are going to show you exactly how to get the Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic in the Warmind expansion. Nabbing this weapon does take a lot of time and effort, as well as several quests in order to get it. But it is certainly worth the wait, as we’re sure veteran players of the original game can attest to.

The Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic made its debut in the original game as a pretty unique exotic that was unlike anything else at all. The same can be said about it now, too, as it has been released alongside the game’s second expansion, Warmind. Here’s how to get it.

Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic Guide

First and foremost, there are some noteworthy requirements that you must meet in order to be able to grab this baby. You must have completed all main story missions for the Warmind expansion, as well as the endgame missions Legacy Code and A Piece of the Past. Completing these will reward you with the IKELOS_HC_V1.0.1 Hand Cannon, which you will need for getting the Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic.

Here’s what you need to do to receive the Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic:

  • With the Ikelos, visit Ana Bray to receive the Violent Intel quest item
  • Use the Ikelos only to kill a bunch of Hive and Cabal until the quest item is at 100%
  • Then you will have to kill the yellow bar enemies until it is 100%
  • Complete five Heroic Strikes with the Ikelos equipped
  • Complete three waves of Escalation Protocol on Mars
  • Find 15 Sleeper Nodes (more on this specifically another time)
  • Complete the Will of the Thousands mission one more time with the Ikelos equipped

And there you have it. Completing all of those crazy steps will nab you the Destiny 2 Sleeper Simulant Exotic. Good luck getting it!
