Paladins Update 1.2 Patch Notes Explained: First Paladins Nintendo Switch Update

Hi-Rez Studios has released the Paladins Update 1.2 Patch Notes for all of the platforms including Nintendo Switch. The total platforms are PC, PS4, Xbox One, and of course, Nintendo Switch. It’s worth noting that this is the first major update for the Switch version and the last one to complete the Battle Pass before 1.3. Let’s get started.

Ameri-Khan

  • Furia
    • Conviction
      • Fixed an issue where Furia’s stun would last longer than intended.
  • Grohk
    • Outreach
      • Fixed rare instances of this card not properly increased the radius of Healing Totem when combined with Spirit’s Domain.
  • Terminus
    • Power Siphon
      • Fixed an issue where Power Siphon could persist if active when Terminus dies.
    • Calamity Blast
      • Fixed an issue where Terminus could continue shooting Calamity Blast if he died with his ultimate up between shots.

  • [Switch][XB1] Crash fix caused by excessive chat message history.
  • [Switch][XB1] Cleanup for game panels linking to incorrect pages.
  • [Switch][XB1] Added an error message to inform the user if they are disconnected from the network during communication.
  • [Switch][XB1] Japanese language accounts will now display properly for English language users.
  • [Switch][XB1] Fixed issue with not being able to search for players with Japanese characters.

  • Fixed an issue where after buying a bundle, hitting A would reset the Drogoz purchase animation.
  • Fixed Demonette Maeve jump audio playing the default sounds
  • Fixed an issue where the equip button would not properly work after purchasing the Rise of Furia Music theme.
  • Fixed default music from not continuing past the initial phase for all game modes.
  • Fixed Rise of Furia music not playing in all game modes besides the actual event queue.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not purchase the Scarlet Charger Mount.

Paladins Update 1.2 Patch Notes Explained: Console Specific Rewards

In 1.2, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch players will have access to two special quests. Play 10 games to unlock a free Diamond Chest, and get 250 eliminations to unlock another. These quests will be available until the 1.3 Update.

In addition, Xbox One and Switch players will earn 2x Abyssal Shards for the duration of 1.2, since they received the 1.1 Update late. PS4 players will earn 2x Abyssal Shards through July 4.
