Introduction

----------------------------------------------------





Hello everyone, I am going to have to beg you to not go

straight to that contact section and send me hate mail.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, this is my

first faq and it’s pretty sloppy looking, but on the

good side I think I did a half decent job of writing this

Anyway, about me hmmmmmmmmm……… this

game is awesome so I wrote this faq that’s about it.

Walkthrough

Before starting I'd like to let you know that this was written

while playing on contractor difficulty, and that this is a

complete walkthrough (A little short compared to the other faq

but it will get you through the game just as well).

As you start out the game you will be greeted by Pedro explaining

your current situation, you are in a training camp where you and

everyone else are using rubber bullets thus you can’t die. He will

also explain Aggro, which is a very important concept in this game.

Aggro is pretty much how aware the enemy is of your presence. If

your partner has all the aggro you will be practically invisible.



Once you start playing there will be yellow bars in front of you that

you have to vault over. To do this simply press y. After a brief

cutscene you will be introduced to “Precision Aiming”. You will

have to shoot the four target dummies to move on. The only thing

you need to keep in mind is that the dummies don’t go down after one

shot.

Another brief scene and you will be under fire! This is your first

aggro exercise and it will introduce you to a very annoying kind of

enemy, turret gunners. As soon as you can move hit right on the d-pad

twice to tell your partner to aggressively hold his position. Every

time the gunner stops firing move one wall closer to him. Eventually

you will bee close enough to move in for the kill.



Now that you’ve taken down the gunner head over to the shooting range

to learn how to throw grenades(Press and hold left bumper and

simultaneously hit down on the d-pad. Now press left trigger to see

where you’re aiming and right trigger to throw the grenade). You

want to throw one through the door of the building.



You will now find yourself trapped in a cage, and on the outside is

a swarm of enemies. You now have a choice, fight them yourself, or

set your partner to advance aggressively. It really doesn’t matter.

Once they’re down your partner will release you from the cage.



Proceed ahead and you will meet a new playmate, a heavy soldier.

These aren’t ordinary soldiers; they have strong body armor that

makes it so they can only be hurt from behind. Set your partner

to hold position aggressively while you sneak behind the heavy

soldier and take him down.



You will now be introduced to your gps, hit back to activate it.

Now walk up to the gate. After a scene hold right bumper and

simultaneously press left on the d-pad and release right bumper.

You will now be in co-op snipe mode; here you should simply

shoot the targets.



This next section is an introduction to back-to-back mode. Here

you will have enemies come at you from all sides but you will

have infinite ammo. Take everyone down to continue.



Walk around the corner to set off a proximity mine. You will

now be wounded. Start shooting as your partner drags you to

safety and heals you. Now head back to the gate and take out

the remaining soldiers. Congratulations you’ve finished Aggro

Training.

When you start out head straight and climb up the ladder, then

fall through the hole in the floor of the building. Now run

underneath the other hole and step jump. Be careful when taking

out the guys out here, you can die now. Oh yeah don’t forget to

pull up your partner.



Walk out the door, head right and quickly find some cover, now set

your partner to regroup aggressively. Be sure to help him out by

blind firing (Crouching behind cover and shooting without

precision aiming). After the guys behind the first car are dead

it should be fairly safe for you to come out. Just be cautious

towards the end of the path, as there is a wall in front of a

building with many enemies hiding behind it. Throw a grenade to

take them out.



After the scene quickly set your partner to regroup aggressively

while you rip the door off the car. Make sure you are providing

good cover while he kills everyone. Then head through the gate

on the left.



In this back-to-back section it is absolutely crucial to aim for

the head. Once the back-to-back ends walk around to make sure

everyone in the plaza is dead. Now head to the pillar on the

right in the back of the plaza and hit a.



The guys here aren’t too much of a threat but if you let them get

to close they’ll melee you, which will knock you down. Make sure

you are always covered when possible and once all the soldiers

are dead a scene will commence.



In this area you will need to co-op snipe a gas tank. Once you

have done this, HIDE! This area is swarming with enemies and

it’s not a good idea to set you partner to aggressive, as he would

probably be wounded. Aim for their heads and slowly advance. If

you keep doing this you will eventually make it to the end of the

road. Once here head to the right side and step jump. Bring your

partner along too. Now enter the turret and take down everyone.

After the long scene you will find yourself hang-gliding, act fast

and take out the tail rotor of the chopper, now start sniping

everyone you can.







Once you land you will find yourself back-to-back but this one is

incredibly easy. Just remember to shoot the bombs on the martyrs

chests before they get close to you. This next part is a little

harder but as long as you get headshots you’ll be fine. After the

battle head over by the spire that’s on fire and head through the cave

on the right.







After the scene duck and throw a grenade in the group of enemies and

follow the path making sure that you wrap around to behind the turret

being careful of mines. Get in the turret and take out anyone left.

Now go plant a charge on the missile, and head into the cave that was

on the path to the missile.







Take down the gate and toss a grenade onto the ledge, you should now

step jump. Hide behind the cement blocks to take out the guys up here.

Set your partner to aggressively hold position while you take out the

gunner. For next few people you don’t need to worry about cover just

aim for headshots. Once you’ve dealt with them head up the rock ramp.







The parachute ride is fairly easy just make sure you swerve to avoid

enemy fire.







Once you land you will be back-to-back but this one is similar to the

one at the beginning of the mission. When you finish take out anyone

left (Including the sniper).







As soon as you enter head downstairs and plant a charge on the missile

that’s pointing straight up. Now head back upstairs to the right and

blow up the explosive barrels. Keep following this path but when you

meet the heavy soldier set your partner to regroup aggressively so you

can take him out. Now turn on your gps and open up the glowing door

(Watch out for mines). Now open the next door, and the next one.







Pick up a shield and have your partner take out anyone near you, then

cross the bridge on the left and throw a grenade into the group of

enemies on your right. Proceed with caution, as there will be many

people still alive. Once you reach the turret enter and take out

anyone left alive. Then head back and open the door.







For this area there isn’t much I can tell you strategy wise other

than headshots, and nades. Once you clear out those people head

downstairs and grab a shield. Now work your way down the maze of

stairs. There should be very little enemy resistance, as you make

your mad to Hicks. Now proceed down the stairs to an enemy

infested room. All I can say is lob a few grenades. Head up

two sets of stairs and go over to the elevator.







Once you get to the open area head right and take out the gunner

and get in the turret. Once you’ve taken out every one you can,

exit the turret. Now head to the other side and lob a grenade.

You should now go upstairs and take out the guys up here it wont

be hard. Get ready for the first kinda challenging fight of the

game. You will face a heavy soldier, Al Habib, and some regular

soldiers. Take out the heavy and regular soldiers as you normally

would. Now switch to your most powerful weapon and aim for

headshots on Al Habib. Head upstairs through the door and plant

a charge.

As the mission starts follow the path until you are being fired at.

Start blind firing and set your partner to aggressively hold his

position. After about a minute of fighting head in between the

two far tents (On your right) and snipe the turret gunner.

Continue to advance trying to stay covered. After a while you

will spot a ladder to climb up. No tips for the next battle

other than headshots.







After the scene, follow the path taking out any enemies you see.

When you get to the gunner take him out as you usually would.

Now you should be at a wall that your partner will help you up.

The only tough part in the area up ahead is the gunner. After a

while you will go through a building and see a sealed bunker.

Open it. The next few skirmishes are easy. Now climb up a

ladder, step jump, and climb another ladder.







In this area very quickly take out the enemies in your immediate

area (If you find you are running out of time trying to do this,

skip it but you must finish the next step must quicker)then

co-op snipe the gas tank. Now head down the two sets

of stairs, make a right and open the door. Make a left to leave

this area and cross the bridge take out the enemies and plant the

beacon. An easy 10 grand.







Cross the bridge and when you see people start shooting get

behind some cover. After you take out the enemies near you

(Best to do this while hiding in the building) get in the

turret and take out anybody that comes near you. After the air

strike you will encounter a large group of enemies that are

covered as well as a turret gunner. The only way to take out

the soldiers (Short of meleeing them) is to throw some grenades.

Once you have taken them down have your partner aggressively

hold his position while you take out the gunner.







After you head through the kinda hidden path by the turret,

proceed to take out any resistance. Now head over to the

small building and tear down the door, you should now be

back-to-back. This one is easy just be sure to take out the

guy with the rpg launcher first. Now enter the tunnel and

open the door.







There will be two soldiers waiting outside the tunnel that I

normally melee but shoot em if you want. During the next few

encounters there’s no advice other then lob nades at the

turret to take it out quickly but if you see that your health

is dropping or the grenade isn't going to be fatal, then you

should just take him out regularly. Now head through the gate.







As soon as this section loads, hide! This is one of the

harder fights in the game. To start out throw a grenade

into any group of three or more enemies and take out any

survivors of the blast. Now proceed as you normally would

(Remember slow and steady wins the race). Be careful, as there

is a heavy soldier.







Once you get the scene with Ali Youssef take out the nearby

proximity mine and enter the building take out everyone being

careful of the heavy soldier. When you finish in there head

into the next area and shoot the explosive barrels next to the

heavy soldier (This should kill him) and take out Ali.

I hope you brought along a good rifle cuz you’re gonna need it.

You start out parachuting in with ten or so enemies shooting at

you, just keep going for headshots and you’ll be fine.

When you land you will be engaged in the easiest back-to-back

section in the game, follow the normal routine and again you’ll

be fine. After the scene chuck some nades while avoiding nades

then follow the normal procedure for taking out large groups

of enemies. After a chopper brings reinforcements shoot the

nearby explosive barrels. Now turn on your gps and disable

the fighter jets that are glowing green. Now head towards

the control tower, then to the back of the ship, downstairs

on the right and open the door.







First thing you should do is pick up the shield and take out

the enemies, now head over to the shutter and open it.

This room is easy, drop to the ground, neutralize the

enemies, take the usb drive and climb the ladder to leave.

Now step jump to the next area and open up the cabinet.







In this area you will be forced into close-quarters-combat

a few times so melee will be your best friend. Once everyone’s

dead turn on your gps and get in the glowing jet. Be careful

as a heavy soldier will now attack you. Head through the

door you blew down and get in the elevator. A scene will occur

where you are talking to the ships captain about the current

situation.







Get back in the elevator, head downstairs, grab the shield and

whack away then head to the back of the hangar and step jump.

Now blow up the valve and head through the door that you just

opened.







This battle is pretty tough; don’t try setting your partner to

aggressive until the room is almost clear make sure that when

ever the screen starts to go red you get into cover

immediately because the many soliders seem to gather around

when your health is low. When it is almost clear set your

partner to hold hid position aggressively while

you take out the heavy soldier. Now walk over to the missiles

and move them. Step jump out of there. Now make your way to

the lifeboat on the other side of the ship while avoiding

debris and taking out soldiers and your done.

Follow the path all the way back taking out the five soldiers

on the way after the scene co-op snipe the large cylinder on

the underside of the bridge. Now head back down the path and

get into the boat with the mounted gun.







Time to take the boat on a joyride! But don’t expect to kill

everyone you see, as the boat has very low health so you will

have to spend all your time running. Keep going until you

reach the lock system. Here you should pull the boat over

to dock it.







Climb the stairs, set your partner to advance aggressively,

and throw a few grenades. Now head back towards the stairs,

turn on your gps and flip the glowing switch. Head down to

the boat and drive into the lock and dock it. Now climb the

ladder and rejoin your partner. There are about five

soldiers and a heavy soldier here. You shouldn’t have any

problems as long as you take out the normal soldiers first.

Now turn your gps back on and hit the switch that is glowing.

A military chopper will now show up, take it down. Now go hit

the last switch.







Another chopper will show up, take down the soldiers it drops

with the nearby shield. Now head down the stairs by the bridge

and get in your boat. Head about fifteen seconds down the

river and dock your boat at the pier. Proceed along the path

and there will be a broken section, drop down, then step jump.

The battle you will get caught up in is very tough. Always go

for headshots and use explosive barrels when you see them.

Eventually you will get a scene and more enemies, then another

scene and more enemies.







After all the fighting is over, head into the mineral processing

plant and open the shutter (Don’t forget to access the laptop).

Now open the other shutter, grab the car door and kill everyone

out here being extremely careful when taking out the gunner.

Enter the building and clear out the ground floor. Pull out

your rifle and start shooting at the people on the upper floor.

The gunner here can be tricky. I told my partner to hold his

position aggressively on the stairs, and then I took him out.







After taking out the gunner, turn and step jump. Up here be

careful of the proximity mines and the heavy soldier. In

the next section grab the shield and get ready to fight.

After the skirmish open the shutter. This battle can be

extremely hard but as long as you take down the heavy soldier

early on you will be ok. After the battle open the shutter

by the stairs and you will be engaged in another easy back-to-back.

Again just aim for their heads. Once you’ve cleared out the

building, turn on your gps and hit the switch, now head to the

next building and pull the lever by the stairs.

After the scene take the boat up the stairs and get out. In

this area there are about fifteen enemies that are preety easy

to take out with a rifle. Once you have done so head upstairs

and open the door. Now open the other door. Immediately take

out the two heavy soldiers in here, then head to the other end

of the room and take cover on the conveyor belt. Now set your

partner to aggressively hold his position and take out everyone

in the room. The gate behind you should now open. In here you

need to always be covered. This is one of the hardest battles

of the game! Once about three quarters of the people are dead,

turn on your gps and hit the glowing switch. Turn your gps

back on and locate the riot shield, follow this hallway all

the way back and open the door upstairs. Now drop down and

push the ramp.







Head up the ramp being careful of the enemies at the top.

When you’ve killed them free Alice. Head back to the other

room, take out the enemies and move on to the next room. This

is a pretty straight forward battle, the only tricky part is

taking out the heavy soldier, but everyone else should be dead

by that time so it’ll be easy. After you’ve done this open

the shutter. You should now get in the boat, turn on your

gps, and go to where it says objective.







Of course you can’t get in the easy way! Turn around and go

to the place where it says objective. Head up the ramp and

don’t get out of the boat, as your partner will use the mounted

gun to take down a few people. In this building there are

enemies around every corner but you should have no problem

taking them down. When you reach the control room activate

your gps and hit the glowing switch (Stay where you are). When

your partner tells you to turn the power back on, do just this.

Tell your partner to advance and he should open the door and

flip the circuit breaker. Now shut off the power and leave.

Follow your gps to the monorail station and drive your boat up

the nearby stairs. Dock it and get out. Now head up stairs

and enter the farther of the two cars and hit the switch in

the back. When you see people you should pull of a simple

ride by shooting and take them down.







Head over to the open doors and co-op snipe the guys that are

just standing there. This will however alert any other soldiers

in the area of you presence. Run into cover and throw a grenade

into the largest group of enemies, then melee everyone else. Go

up stairs and use the same strategy that you just did except

when you encounter the heavy soldier. When you try to open

the elevator you will learn that there’s no power, so you will

have to head upstairs and fix this. When you get up here grab

the riot shield and start whacking people, just be sure not to

get to close to the heavy soldier. Once the regular soldiers

are dead, take out the heavy. Turn on your gps and follow the

arrow to the elevator control room. In here you should take

out the guard and turn on the electricity.







The next two battles are extremely easy. There are no surprises

just regular soldiers. Once they’ve been dealt with go to the

computer on the ground floor and enter the code. Now go up to

the third floor, take out the soldiers and vault onto the elevator.







Go up two stairs and step jump. You will now be back-to-back.

It’s actually the easiest one in the game. Just take out the

guy with the rpg launcher first. Turn on your gps and follow

it to Clyde. Head downstairs and take out any soldiers you

see on your way to the back of the room. Walk over to the

server here and download evidence, now go to the other servers

and do the same. Quickly take out the heavy soldier on the

stairs, and then go upstairs. Get behind cover and take

out all the regular soldiers, then carefully take out the

heavy. You should now proceed upstairs and take out the

heavy up here. Here’s the hard part, as soon as Clyde stops

firing run over to the barricade he’s behind and duck. Now

you can blind fire at him without him being able to hurt

you. Congratulations you just completed Army of TWO.
