Yakuza Kiwami 2 Get Experience Fast

Yakuza Kiwami 2 Farm Experience Fast: How to Get Strength, Agility, Spirit, Technique, and Charm EXP Quick

If you want to make Kiryu as powerful as possible, you’ll want to get experience fast in Yakuza Kiwami 2. The amount of EXP you accrue directly influences how quickly you can unlock Kiryu’s skills and raise his health, heat, and other stats. We’ve worked out the best way to farm EXP fast in Yakuza Kiwami 2, so you can unleash Kiryu’s inner dragon.

How to Get Experience Fast in Yakuza Kiwami 2

Yakuza Kiwami 2 uses the same experience introduced in Yakuza 6. Instead of spending cash to unlock Kiryu’s skills like in Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 0, you have a pool of five different types of experience. You’ll need to build a reserve of strength, agility, spirit, technique, and charm EXP before you can unlock Kiryu’s abilities.

To get experience you can do nearly anything. Winning fights, clearing substories, clearing events in the main story, eating food, and playing mini-games all contribute experience. The real trick to gaining a lot is to maximize the amount you earn for each activity.

Before you start trying to farm EXP, you’re going to want to work on purchasing a group of skills in the Life Skills section of the stats menu. Try to max these out as fast as possible if you want to start raking in experience points:

  • Boost EXP Gain: 5 Levels
  • Boost Hunger Gauge: 3 Levels
  • Boost Digestion: 3 Levels

Boost EXP Gain will predictably boost the experience you get from all activities in Yakuza Kiwami 2. Boost Digestion will add onto that by raising the amount of EXP you get from eating. Finally, Boost Hunter Gauge will let Kiryu eat more at a time.

Once you have those skills, you’re ready to farm EXP in Yakuza Kiwami 2.

How to Farm EXP in Yakuza Kiwami 2

You’d think fighting the hordes of people trying to kill him would be the best thing to shapen Kiryu up, but it’s not. The easiest way to get EXP in Yakuza Kiwami 2 is to eat your heart out.

You’ll need a decent cash flow to farm experience through eating. I suggest you work on the above skills until you unlock the Four Shine Cabaret Club. You can get a steady cash flow by playing the cabaret mini-game, which you’ll need.

Before you start your gluttonous rampage, you need to stock up on AppStim RX. These items decrease your hunger gauge after eating and are a big part of the farming process.

Once you’ve got your AppStims, start scouting out restaurants. Each kind of food gives different EXP, so you’ll need to move between restaurants if you want to get an equal spread across all five types. The rest is easy. Just chow down with Kiryu and use the AppStims to decrease your hunger meter when it’s full. The only thing keeping you from continuously gaining experience will be your patience and your cash flow.
