The best Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 XP farm partially relies on your prowess in combat, but a good chunk of experience points you can earn is actually done while you traverse the map. Doing the main missions and major side missions will give you a large amount of XP upon completion, but those tend to take about a half an hour or more to finish. Meanwhile, you’ll want to level up as fast as possible so that you can earn skill points that you’ll need to unlock and upgrade abilities. Fortunately, you can use either Peter Parker or Miles Morales to gain XP quickly using this method. Here’s how to farm experience points in Spider-Man 2 for PS5.

The best way to farm XP in Spider-Man 2 is to complete quick side objectives like crime reports and perform long strings of tricks as you swing across the city.

Crime reports will occur randomly as you traverse the map and will be highlighted as red triangles with an exclamation point. These objectives will normally get you 200 experience points at minimum and upwards of about 500 experience points if you’re able to complete bonus objectives. On top of that, collecting Spider-Bots available later in the game and finishing other side activities will get you a few hundred XP as well. You’ll want to do this anyway to fill the district progress bar to unlock fast travel and earn extra rare tech parts and hero tokens.

Along the way, doing tricks while you soar through the air will get you small amounts of XP that rack up quickly. You will want to take a swing to its full height, which will launch Spider-Man high into the air. From there, holding the square button with different directional inputs (up, down, left, right) will build a multiplier. By the time you are forced to end the combo, you can easily perform five or more tricks in a row, which amounts form 25 to 70 XP per swing depending on how high you can get. Within five minutes, I was able to get 1700 XP just by performing tricks in Midtown that’s full of skyscrapers and long streets.
