Spiderman 2 Best Swing Settings

Spiderman 2 Best Swing Settings: Should I Set Swing Steering Assistance to Zero?

The Spiderman 2 best swing settings can be difficult to work out. The game has a new setting called Swing Steering Assistance that is not a simple toggle on and off. It can be set to a minimum of 0 or all the way up to 10. Changing this one notch higher or lower doesn’t have too much influence on Spiderman’s swing, but turning it all the way down has a significant impact in that you can actually web-swing into the ground if you’re not careful. Here’s our recommendation for the best swing setting for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5.

What are the Spiderman 2 best swing settings?

The best swing settings for Spiderman 2 is 0, especially if you have played previous games in the series.

So long as you can figure out how not to hit the ground while you have Swing Steering Assistance set to zero, you will find that traversing the city is dynamic and easy. This is because a low setting for this allows the system to use physics to have greater effect while swinging. The best way to do this is hitting the button (triangle) to activate the Web Wings if you think there’s a danger of Spiderman getting too close to the pavement.

That said, we recommend that you try the different swing settings to figure out what’s ultimately comfortable for you. Some players feel that swinging is better on a relatively low setting like 2 or 3, if just to get used to how web-slinging works in the game. After that, you can slowly remove the assistance until you can get comfortable with the momentum of the physics system, or continue to swing with assistance for consistency.
