RuneScape Mobile Cross-platform – Getting RuneScape Mobile

RuneScape is now available on a swathe of computer devices. The game’s lessening reliance on Java has brought it to more platforms than ever before. RuneScape Mobile expands that further to a swathe of Android and iOS devices. Android devices running Lollipop 5.0 or above should be able to install the game from the Google Play Store. IOS 10+ devices are compatible with the game, with devices ranging from the iPhone 5S to the newest iPhones, and can download it from the App Store here.

The mobile release is tailored to smartphones, although it is also available for tablets. Once the game is installed, you can create a new account or log in with a pre-existing one.

RuneScape Mobile Cross-Platform – How to Do Cross-Platform Play

Once the game is installed and you are on the RuneScape Mobile login screen, there will be a world selector in the bottom left of the screen. Different worlds are for paying members, or free-to-play players and some have skill level restrictions or suggested activities. Your character is not tied to any particular world or server. RuneScape Mobile Cross-platform play happens on all worlds, all the time.

Once logged in and playing, you will encounter players from various platforms constantly. You will be able to talk to, and play with people playing on other mobile devices, and personal computers. Accounts are fully accessible on any device, and can be used freely across devices.
