Fallout 76 Quests Gone After Patch Fix

Fallout 76 Quests Gone After Patch Fix

Fallout 76 players have been reporting their quests are gone after the recent patch. When logging back in after installing the patch, one or more quests have disappeared for some players, and the original method of activating the quest was gone as well. Here’s what to do if your quests are gone in Fallout 76 after patch to fix the problem.

How to Fix the Quests Gone After Patch Fallout 76 Bug

If you’re one of the players who logged back on after today’s patch and found some or all of your quest items gone from your inventory and your quests no longer available in your log, there’s an easy fix. Like many things computer-related, turning it off and on again seems to do the trick. Many have said that all it took to make quests reappear in Fallout 76 is a quick restart of the game.

However, some are saying that the quests continue to disappear even after logging out and back in. Unfortunately, due to disconnects players sometimes lose all progress in a mission, and there’s not much you can do in that case. I had this happen to me early in the game when completing the Overseer’s mission at the first campsite. Even though I made a weapon and a piece of armor and completed the quest when I logged out and came back the next day I found the game hadn’t saved my progress.

If losing quest progress in Fallout 76 is a persistent issue for you, there are a few things you can do, but you’ll likely have to wait for another patch. Contacting Bethesda Support on the website or official Twitter may lead to a fix, and you’ll want to keep an eye out on the official forums to see if any other players are going through the same thing.

Fallout 76 has had a rocky start, and though the latest patch resolved some issues, there are still many to iron out.
