However, first, you’ll need to know how to send a gift in FortniteDon’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Fortnite Gifting | How do I send a gift in Fortnite?

Fortnite gifting

The steps to send a gift in Fortnite are pretty simple. First, you’ll need to head to the main page and go over to the Item Shop. After you’ve done that, you can have a look through the different items that are available and decide what you’d like to send. Once you’ve picked out the perfect item, simply click on it and you’ll see the option to “Buy As A Gift.” Choose that option and you’ll be taken to a list of your friends. Once you have chosen the friend that you’d like to send a gift to, you can add a custom message if you’d like. After that, your gift is ready to go! Simply click continue and your gift will be on its way and will arrive the next time your friend plays the game.

However, one thing to note is that in order to send a gift, you’ll have to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Fortnite account. If you’re unsure whether or not you have it enabled, you can check by clicking any item in the store. Once you’ve done that, under the “Buy As A Gift” tab, a notification will appear saying “2FA required to send gifts.” If you see this, then you don’t have 2FA enabled. To enable it, choose “Buy As A Gift” and a screen will pop up with instructions.

It remains a mystery why gifting keeps being added and then removed from Fortnite. Perhaps the system is somehow being abused or maybe Epic Games is just having a little fun with it. Who knows. With that said, limited time gifting has at least returned to Fortnite, and players can start taking advantage of it right now. Just be sure to get those gifts out while you still can.
