It appears that several of you are complaining about receiving duplicate outfits in Mortal Kombat 11 from the Shrine. Obviously, this is not great, as each outfit part or piece of gear costs you in-game currency. What’s more, it costs a good 75K of in-game cash each time to get a set that should contain only new gear pieces. Unfortunately, it seems as though the game is bugged, causing players to spend loads of currency and ultimately receiving multiple versions of the same piece of gear or outfit item.

Thankfully, there appears to be a fix on the way in the future. Read on to learn all about it.

As stated above, a fix is on the way for the annoying Mortal Kombat 11 duplicate gear bug. This is according to Tyler Lansdown (community manager for Netherrealm Studios) on Twitter, anyway. Responding to a fan question about whether or not getting duplicate gear is a bug or not, Lansdown confirmed that it is indeed a bug. He confirmed that a fix for the bug is on the way, and the issue will be resolved in the next Mortal Kombat 11 update.

Unfortunately, he didn’t go so far as to give an expected release date for the update. Hopefully it will be released sooner rather than later. For now, we’d recommend that you simply avoid purchasing gear from the Shrine until after the next update goes live.
