Fortnite Destroy a Loot Carrier Locations | Find Hot Spots
Right then, the Fortnite Destroy a Loot Carrier locations have an actual name in the game. They’re called Hot Spots, and these areas are where Loot Carriers appear.
These Hot Spots vary from match to match though. Luckily, they aren’t that difficult to find. Every time a new match begins, you’ll notice that some location names on the map now appear in gold. For example, if you open your map and see that Polar Peak is written in gold, this will be a designated Hot Spot for that match.
All you need to do is head on over to these Hot Spots to locate a Loot Carrier. From there, you can complete the challenge.
Fortnite Destroy a Loot Carrier Locations | Challenge and reward
What exactly is the Fortnite Destroy a Loot Carrier locations challenge? As part of the Season 9 Week 4 task list, you’ll need to shoot down a Loot Carrier in three separate matches. Loot Carriers look like drones, and they carry crates with special gear in them. Shooting one down will tick off your list for this challenge and earn you some rare weapons and other goodies.
Be aware though that every other player will be gunning for these Loot Carriers to get their gear and chalk off their own weekly challenge. You’ll have a fight on your hands, so the best approach is to pick one place right at the beginning of a match and head there immediately. With a bit of luck, you’ll land first, find the Loot Carrier, and destroy it before anyone else can.
Your reward for completing this challenge is five Battle Stars too, so it’s worth doing.
