TFT Patch Notes July 1

TFT Patch Notes July 1 | New Teamfight Tactics update

The brand-new Teamfight Tactics mode in League of Legends has just secured its first major update. As this is a separate update for a mode within a game, unfortunately, there is no update number to be seen. Despite this, you can still have a read through the complete TFT patch notes for July 1 if you scroll to the end of this guide. Before then, however, you can have a look through some of the new Teamfight Tactics update highlights below. Find out everything that has changed and been fixed thanks to the new update right here.

TFT Patch Notes July 1 | Highlights

tft patch notes july 1

It’s interesting to see that a mode inside a game is receiving separate updates, for sure. This is exactly what happened yesterday with League of Legends’ Teamfight Tactics. It’s not a huge update, however. Largely, the TFT July 1 update patch notes refer to character adjustments for balance and Champion drop rate alterations. This is changing things up for Tiers 1, 2, and 3.

Champion Drop Rate Changes

As stated above, Champion Drop Rates have been adjusted to make the probabilities of finding Tier 1 Unites a little more unlikely. On the flip side, the developers have increased the likeliness of you finding Tier 2 and 3 Units in the shop. This should hopefully help you craft a more powerful set of units overall.

Champion Balance Adjustments

Along with increasing the likelihood of us finding Tier 2 and 3 Units, a good number of individual Champions have had certain stats and skills altered for balance. Elise, for example, has had her Spider Form mana cost reduced from 100 down to 75. Poppy’s health has been increased from 750 to 800 and Poppy’s Keeper’s Verdict mana cost has been reduced from 100 to 75. There are plenty more adjustments such as these, which you can read through in the full TFT July 1 patch notes below.

Tier 2 and 3 Units

Developer Notes: Tier 2 and 3 units are currently too risky to star-up when compared to tier 1’s. To broaden the pool of champions worth considering, we’re increasing the probability of finding Tier 2’s and 3’s in the shop while reducing the amount of Tier 1’s that appear.
