Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Use a Chug Jug or Chug Splash in different matches

A very simple one to start you off. Simply use a Chug Jug or Chug Splash in three separate matches, and you will tick this challenge off your list. Collect your five Battle Stars.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Visit a solar array in the snow, desert, and jungle

This next Free Pass challenge might seem a bit tricky, but it really isn’t. You must visit a solar array in each of these three areas to get your next five Battle Stars. Their locations aren’t a secret, but you may not be aware of where they are if you are just starting out in Fortnite. Allow us to help.

For the snow solar array, head to Frosty Flights. Look behind the hangars and you can’t miss them. The desert solar array, meanwhile, is in Paradise Palms. Head East out of the town towards the hill in the area and you will see them. Finally, the jungle solar array is North of Pressure Plant. It’s right at the top of the map in the East of hot springs. You might need to use a zipline to get there, but it isn’t difficult to spot.

You don’t need to visit all three in the same match, but it will help if you can. That means you will have two more matches closer to completing the weekly challenges if you do.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Eliminations with rarity weapons

fortnite season 9 week 9 challenges

The final Free Pass challenge requires you to get an elimination with a different rarity level of weapon. There are five stages to this task as you must get a kill with a Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary weapon.

This might be the hardest challenge of all to accomplish this week. Thankfully, it is a cumulative one so you don’t need to get all these in the same match. Your best bet is to knock opponents’ health down to their last sliver, change to a weapon with one of these rarities, and finish them off with it.

So, for example, use an assault rifle to take their health right down. Then switch to, say, an epic pistol and finish them that way. This will help you as you won’t have to whittle down their health meter with the pistol, which would take forever. Do this five times and nab five Battle Stars.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Deal headshot damage

The first Battle Pass challenge asks you to get 500 damage points using headshots. Sounds easy, but it isn’t. You will need to be a deadeye shot to deal a good portion of damage with headshots, especially if you aren’t used to sniper rifles.

Speaking of sniper rifles, these will be your best option to get the challenge. You will want to be as patient as possible, and make sure that you actually line up the shot correctly. Once you’ve done this, you will net yourself five more Battle Stars.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Search chests at Lazy Lagoon or Happy Hamlet

Another week and yet another chests challenge. Simply search through seven chests in either of the named locations. This will get you five Battle Stars for your troubles.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Eliminate opponents in different named locations

fortnite season 9 week 9 challenges

Just like the Season 9 Week 8 challenges list, you are required to eliminate enemies in different named locations. You need to get five kills so that means you will need to visit five different named locations to complete this one.

To give you a recap on this, you can’t use the same named location in five different matches. For instance, once you get a kill in Pressure Plant, you can’t use that place again for your other four kills. There are plenty of named locations on the map though, so you won’t have any trouble getting this task checked off. Grab 10 Battle Stars for doing so.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 9 Challenges | Deal damage within 10 seconds of landing from a Volcano Vent

fortnite season 9 week 9 challenges

The final week 9 challenge is a doozy. Basically, you must deal 200 damage points to a single opponent within 10 seconds of landing from a Volcano Vent. These vents can be found all around the map’s volcano, so pick whichever one you want.

Once you have set your sights on an enemy player, ride the vent and then land back down safely. Make sure your descent is as fast as possible so you don’t get hit yourself. Then, start shooting. You only have 10 seconds to deal the required damage otherwise the timer will reset.

The problem with this challenge is that you might find opponents serpentine and duck behind cover to stop you from shooting them. Make sure that they can’t hide behind an obstacle and get your shots lined up right before you hit the ground. This will give you the best chance of success. Grab 10 Battle Stars for completing this challenge.

Complete any four of the seven challenges above and you will get 9,000 XP too.
