Players with early access will be able to download and install the new 1.02 update on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players joining in on the launch date of September 27 will find the new FIFA patch waiting for them. While this update should automatically download, you can always force it using your platform’s respective “Check for Updates” function. Read on for the full list of patch notes.
FIFA 20 1.02 Update Patch Notes
The FIFA 20 1.02 update patch notes, as detailed on the PS4’s “Update History” list, are pretty generic. According to these notes, the 1.02 update implements “various changes/fixes.”
Yeah, those patch notes aren’t very helpful, as they could mean literally anything! If you’re left unsatisfied by these patch notes from the PS4 version of the game, I will also note that FifaUltimateTeam.it appears to have sourced other patch notes, which detail a change to the Volta mode.
Addressed the following issue:
- Some players getting into a state where their Avatar would not receive Attribute or Skill Point progression following a match, and where they would be unable to recruit a player after winning a match.
It’s not clear where the above patch notes originated from, so take them with a pinch of salt.
Here’s hoping EA provides official information on what exactly has changed with the FIFA 20 1.02 update. With the game having recently unlocked for early access members, players will no doubt be eager to hear more about any potential fixes or balance changes, especially if they are considering purchasing the full release. We’ll update this article with any new information.
