Call of Duty Mobile 2.0 Update Patch Notes

New operative Alex Mason is joining the Call of Duty Mobile cast with the Call of Duty Mobile 2.0 update. While Activision didn’t give any details, he is most likely one of the rewards from the new Season 2 Premium Battle Pass.

The Zombies mode… or the Zombie mode, as it is officially proclaimed, is live in all its brain-munching glory. This four-player co-op action mode comes in two different flavors: Survival, and the objective-driven Raid mode. The battle against the undead unfolds in a map called Shi No Numa, which you may be familiar with from games such as Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, to name just a few. You can unlock new Zombie content, and there is more in store for you if you manage to discover the Easter egg.

Controller support makes its way into the game, upping the ante for those who aren’t entirely at ease with touchscreen controls. Let’s face it, the Call of Duty Mobile Garena controls are some of the best ever devised for a mobile shooter, but a controller is a much more reliable option. You can use the recent PS4 and Xbox One controllers in the game, but you should be warned that for the sake of a fair gaming experience, the matchmaking system will put you up against Emulator users and Keyboard docking users.

There’s a new map called Summit launching with the Call of Duty Mobile 2.0 update, which fans of the Black Ops games will certainly recognize. This snowy high-altitude map offers Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy, and Frontline game modes. Regarding the battle royale mode, the map suffered a few changes and a couple of areas were introduced: a snowy area and a circus-themed area.
