Tips and Tricks
Make sure you fill out all of the four character slots ASAP.
The basics towards gaining a strong team of galactic freedom fighters is through the completion of missions and gaining more EXP.
You'll get the majority of your EXP by completing the normal missions.
Another way to get even more EXP and sweet rewards by completing the limited edition missions that become available on a daily basis.
The best way to approach arena battles is by only getting involved in the 1st battle, winning and quitting as soon as it's done. Just win that 1st encounter and leave the arena with your prize. You can't abuse this method though, since you'll have to use your energy to engage in arena battles.
Your arena-won Bounties will go towards the great awards awaiting you in the arena shop.
The promotion process will involve you using promotion items/cards to push your heroes to different and stronger tiers. The "Promote" button will list all the required card goals needed for you to fulfill in order to properly promote a character.
There's a limit to how much you can promote a given character, so keep that in mind once you push a certain party member toward Tier 4 or Tier 5.
Save Credits for Training. Star Wars: Assault Team will kick you in the teeth if you don’t stay on top of Training. The first series of campaign missions gets a little tough towards the very end if you aren’t prepared, but the very first mission in the next area (Kashyyyk) will wreck your newbie team in short order.
Plan your attacks. Because of the linear turn order, if you plan appropriately it’s not that difficult to defeat enemies before they get a chance to attack. This isn’t really a make-or-break strategy, but the fewer attacks the enemy gets on your team the more likely they are to survive to the end of a Mission. Of course there’s another thing that really helps with that.
