Final Fantasy 7 Remake Corneo’s Secret Stash Locations | How to unlock the dragon doors

Finding Corneo’s Secret Stash is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake that requires you to find three dragon doors. You’ll likely see these doors with the dragon emblem long before you have the key to unlock them. It’s not until Chapter 14 that you’ll get a chance to actually open them.

Where to find the key for the dragon doors in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Before you can open the dragon doors and loot Corneo’s stash in FF7 Remake, you need to get the key. You won’t have the opportunity to get Corneo’s Vault Key until you reach Chapter 14: In Search of Hope. Once you’re there, you’ll need to head towards the Sector 5 train station. Near the station, you run into Johnny, who claims someone stole his wallet and ran towards the church.

Speaking with Johnny starts the Tomboy Bandit side quest, which leads to the church. There you’ll meet Kyrie, and you’ll have to head all the way to Wall Market and fight a battle for her in the colosseum. Once you do so, you can go all the way back to the church, and she’ll give you Corneo’s Vault Key.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Corneo’s Secret Stash Locations

Corneo’s Vault Key gives you access to three stashes spread throughout Sector 5 and Sector 6. If you haven’t already, start the Corneo’s Secret Stash side quest by talking to Damon, the newspaper reporter. He’ll either be at the fork in the road north of the Sector 5 slums, or if you talked to Kyrie before Damon, he’ll be outside the church.

Each of Corneo’s stashes is located behind elaborate dragon doors. You’ve likely run across a few during your adventure already, and now that you have Corneo’s Vault Key, you can finally enter them. While there are a lot of items inside each stash, the main objective for the Corneo’s Secret Stash odd job is to get three key items:

  • Diamond Tiara
  • Emerald Tiara
  • Ruby Tiara

Corneo’s Stash Location 1 – Steel Mountain – Ruby Tiara

You likely saw this stash way back in Chapter 8: Budding Bodyguard. To get there, head north out of the Sector 5 slums and take the path leading northeast when you get to the fork. Keep following the path past the graveyard and continue moving east. You’ll find the stash across from the Chocobo fast travel post. Inside, you’ll obtain the Ruby Tiara in a container.

To get to this last stash, you’ll need to continue the story in Chapter 14 to the point where Leslie takes you into the sewers. Once you fight the Mischievous Shoat, you can find a console near a ladder that can be used to drain some water. You’ll want to head to the Former Disposal Area, and you’ll find a new passage you can go through leading to this door.

Inside the third stash, you’ll fight a Sahagin Prince. Once you’ve defeated it, you can check the containers in the room to find the Emerald Tiara.

Once you’ve gotten all three tiaras, you can complete the Corneo’s Secret Stash side quest. You’ll just need to head over to the park near Wall Market and speak with Merle. She’ll agree to fence the tiaras and use the funds to help the displaced survivors of Sector 7.
