The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone Duos mode might be slightly more intense for some players. It does put more of a focus on individual performance after all. In order to cope with fewer teammates, here are some Warzone Duos strategies and tips to help you get to victory.

This is obvious but even more essential when there are only two people. In Quads or Trios, you can more easily split apart since you might be closer to at least one or two of your other teammates. Here, if you split off, you’re probably going to die. Even if you’re not talking to your partner, staying together is still good enough since your teammate will likely naturally shoot at who is shooting you if you’re together.

This sort of goes with the previous point but you should watch your partner’s back when they’re pushing forward. If you focus all of your team’s vision on one direction, you can easily get wiped out by someone right behind you.
Breaching is the perfect example of this. If your squadmate enters and looks right, look left. Don’t all focus on the same part of the map. You need to be more efficient with your eyeballs here.

There are fewer of you so you might be to each fill multiple roles. The Overkill perk is perfect for this since it allows you to use multiple primary weapons. One of you ca be a sniper and have a rocket launcher while the other can use a medium-range rifle and an automatic rifle. This will help round out your team even with only two of you.

Since everyone is in sets of two, it is a little easier to predict and bait revives. Down one of your opponents and leave them out for a bit. Either you’ll be able to see where their friend is or you’ll lull them into a false sense of security as they go try to revive their downed ally. Sometimes it is better to just finish them off, but you can cleverly use the fewer amount of teammates to your advantage. This may even work better after the Gulag closes since they might be less hesitant to immediately revive.

You should always be looking to revive your mates while playing Warzone but Duos make that even more important. You’ll need that extra person to keep an eye on your six since you’ll often be outnumbered. Look out for chests to find cash. Don’t be stingy.
