Is there a Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 PS4 release date?

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 PS4

No. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is an Xbox and PC exclusive release. It’s exceedingly unlikely that it will ever release on PS4 or the upcoming PS5. The name is a bit of a giveaway. Microsoft has produced this game to be made exclusively for its machines (Xbox One and PC, potentially Series X in the future). If you’re hoping for a PS4 release, it’s best you forget about it ever happening.

It’s rare enough that Microsoft allows its games on other platforms, not least any in the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. Indeed, 2020 is the first time the series is releasing outside of the PC at all. Despite this, however, an Xbox One release date for the game is yet to be revealed. We wouldn’t be shocked to see it now skip the Xbox One and move onto the Series X instead. A release of this game, therefore, on PS4 would be an unprecedented event. An incredibly unlikely scenario to say the least. It’s never going to happen, essentially.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is releasing on Windows 10 on August 18, 2020. An Xbox One release is scheduled for a later date. And, once more for the people in the back, it is not on PS4 and it will more-than-likely never be on PlayStation. If you have to play the game, play it on PC or Xbox.
