Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods DLC release date

The Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods DLC release date has been a mystery since the full game came out in March. However, id has finally announced when we will be playing the game’s first expansion. So when is the Doom Eternal DLC release date? When will players be able to rip and tear yet again?

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods DLC release date

The first episode of The Ancient Gods is coming out on October 20 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is part of the game’s season pass and is the first paid part of it. The price of the DLC without the season pass is not known. The game is still slated to come to the Switch, but id was not exact on if this expansion would be making its way to that platform. Id hasn’t spoken much about that version at all.

The Ancient Gods sees the Slayer battling back to Urdak and taking on demons that look slightly different than they did in the main campaign. There are always demons to kill and the Slayer is happy to oblige. There are new enemies and id has spoken about new abilities and weapons but hasn’t divulged exactly what those will be just yet. We still have about two months to find out.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 DLC release date

October 20 only brings the first episode to the table. There is still another half of that series that is supposed to come out. However, id did not give any implication of when that second episode was coming out. It will have taken just over seven months for the first DLC to come out but it’s unclear if that will be a comparable time table for the second episode. Hopefully, id gets that release date out there relatively soon.
