General Tips
- You can signify that the answer is correct just by tilting the device downwards. If you want to pass the word and move on to the next, simply tilt it upwards.
- If the person who is explaining is struggling it is better to pass than to waste precious time.
- After each game you will see the statistics that show all the right and wrong answers. If you want, you can upload the score to Ellen’s official Facebook page.
- Take a second or two to think about how you want to present the word to your teammate. It may seem wasteful, but it is better than to rush in and mumble something nonsensical. Brain is faster than your mouth, so you can get overwhelmed.
- Hold the device with your thumbs and index fingers. Keep the index fingers straight, so as not to block the word.
- Be careful when you tilt the device. In the heat of the moment, you can be a bit more aggressive and drop it on the ground.
- If you are able to choose a member of your team, select the one who isn’t that talkative. It is better to hear only a couple of meaningful words than to receive an overflow.
- When explaining to a close friend, use your personal experience, especially something from that day.
