Zelda: Breath of the Wild How To Get Ree Dahee Shrine Treasure Chest

When you find yourself at the end of Ree Dahee Shrine toward the beginning of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild, you will notice that there is a treasure chest on a floating platform to the left. It may seem impossible to get to after you try gliding to it from the nearby platform and scaling the metal wall. However, you actually do have access to it. Here's how to get to it.

First, go down the ladder on the right side of the end platform. You will notice there are two metal barrels next to you. What you need to do is move them to the platform above using the Magnesis special ability. All you need is enough slack to move it the distance require to move it up there.

Once the barrel is on the top platform, pick it up and bring it to the switch by riding the moving platform back to where you came from. This will make the left-side platform next to the treasure chest move to a diagonal position, providing clear access to the treasure.

Upon opening the treasure you will be rewarded with a Climber's Bandana. This is one of the earliest accessed head armors, which not only increases your defense by 3, but improves your climbing speed.

Although we recommend keeping the bandana for its climbing bonus, it can be sold for 600 rupees if you need money.
