warzone 2 resurgence solo mode missing

Warzone 2 Resurgence Solos Gone: Why Is the Mode Missing?

Warzone 2 launched the Resurgence mode alongside Season 2. The promised Solo mode did not arrive on launch, becoming available on February 24. However, this week players noticed the mode was missing. So why has it gone and where is it?

When can you play Warzone 2 resurgence solos?

The confusion about solo play in Resurgence comes from a tweet from developer Raven Software, who works on Warzone 2. While all squad sizes were promised to be present at the launch, it was later revealed that they would be part of a playlist rotation.

This means that Resurgence solo was only available on the weekend of February 24, after which it was rotated out. At the time of writing, the only way to play Resurgence is as a group of four which will eventually be rotated out for a different group size.

There is no news yet for when Resurgence solo will be rotated back. Many players are frustrated over the lack of options, as they can’t gather a group of four, meaning it is impossible to play Resurgence. As Resurgence’s smaller size is more suitable for solo players, many were excited to see it launch so they could enjoy Warzone 2 solo. However, all the group options for regular Battle Royale are available as a permanent playlist.
