Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is there a bug net

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: Is There a Bug-Catching Net?

There are a ton of insects in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, so you’d think there’d be a Bug-Catching Net to help you nab them. The item has appeared in previous Zelda games and seems like a perfect fit for this one. Unfortunately, however, you’ll have to be content catching these creepy crawlies with your hand.

Is there a bug net in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

There isn’t a bug-catching net in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. So despite the fact there are insects everywhere, you’re stuck catching them by hand. Unfortunately, they’re pretty fast, so you’ll typically have to take them out with your bow before you can grab them.

So, if you meet any bugs, lizards, or other small, skittering creatures, you’ll have to chase them down or knock them out. So far, we haven’t found a net or any other tools that make capturing them easier. We haven’t visited every nook and cranny of the game, so there could potentially be one hidden somewhere. However, given how common bugs are, we assume that if there were one, it’d be pretty easy to find.

So, if you want to catch bugs in Tears of the Kingdom, you’re going to have to do it by hand. You’ll have to be quick, too, as they despawn rather quickly once you alert them.
