Street Fighter 6 World Tour 30 FPS Framerate Fix

Street Fighter 6 World Tour: How to Increase 30 FPS and Unlock Frame Rate

Street Fighter 6 World Tour mode has a problem with framerate, with many players reporting that it’s locked to a low 30 FPS. This is despite other matches, even those online, have a much higher framerate at 60 to even 120 FPS. So then, what’s the hiccup in World Tour, an offline adventure mode. It wouldn’t seem like that the extra NPCs and the background should be that taxing for any mid-tier graphics card. Fortunately, there is a way to change the setting so that players can fix the locked 30 FPS in SF6 World Tour.

How to unlock from 30 FPS in World Tour

To fix the locked 30 FPS in World Tour mode, you need to head back to the main menu, head to the graphics options in settings, and turn off the “Limit World Tour battles to 30 FPS” toggle.

This option is similar to Resolution Mode on consoles and is used primarily to make sure that the graphics look as fantastic as possible, though that unfortunately comes at the cost of the framerate. Turning the limiter off will likely make the graphics a bit blurrier, especially if the setting for internal resolution is also lowered, but it will improve the framerate. And for fighting games, making sure that you have a high FPS is important since many high-damage combos require inputs with very tight timing windows.

There are other settings that you can adjust to make the general framerate of the game higher as well, including turning off V-Sync and lowering the internal resolution settings. Of course, how you balance resolution with framerate is up to you, especially given the specs of your PC.

At any rate, getting rid of the framerate cap in World Tour will help you in levelling up your custom character, regardless of whether you choose to use Classic or Modern control settings.
