Starfield Delivering Devils Hack Trade Authority Clear Deep Mines

Starfield Delivering Devils: Should You Clear Deep Mines or Hack Trade Authority?

The Starfield Delivering Devils is a mandatory quest if you want to get through the UC Vanguard faction questline. To keep things vague (until after the break below), you need to figure out the location of a particular scientist but you need to clear the person’s debt first. You can do this by either hacking a terminal at the Trade Authority or clearing out the Deep Mines. Here’s what happens in either case and what rewards you will receive in the Delivering Devils quest in Starfield.

Should you hack or clear mines in Starfield Delivering Devils quest?

You should choose to clear the mines in the Delivering Devils quest to earn more credits and learn the formula of the Pick-Me-Up drug.

After you talk to Lou at The Sixth Circle bar in Cydonia, he tells you that you need to clear Percival’s debt before he will the scientist’s location. You can do what he suggests by hacking the accounts terminal in the nearby Trade Authority, but this requires you to get through a door with a Master-level lock on it. Even if you go through with it, you’ll miss out on the drug formula.

Instead, you can speak with Cambridge Cooper in The Sixth Circle who asks you to kill all the spacers in the Deep Mines to get data on a potential drug. These mines are about 1,000 meters away from the entrance of Cydonia and they’re full of spacers. But it also has a lot of loot to pick up that is worth far more than the credits you’ll receive for completing the quest.

Once you have the data, it will open up an option to make a business proposition with Oktai Embayar at the Trade Authority. Accepting this proposal will give you a finder’s fee of 1800 credits. Cooper will give you the formula for the Pick-Me-Up drug, which gives you +50 carrying capacity for 15 minutes. It requires you to use 2 Aqueous Hermatite (that you can find in the Deep Mines), 1 Membrane, and 1 Metabolic Agent at a Pharmaceutical Lab crafting station.
