Pokemon Go How to Get Genesect Drives

Pokemon Go: How to Get Genesect Drives

Genesect Drives in Pokemon Go are items that can be used to change the type of Genesect’s signature move, Techno Blast. This ability makes it a very versatile Pokemon in both PvP and PvE content. However, Genesect Drives are also relatively rare and can be difficult to obtain.

How to Get Genesect Drives in Pokemon Go

Currently, the only way to get Genesect Drives in Pokemon Go is through trading. This means that you will need to find another player who has a Genesect with the Drive that you want, and then trade with them. To trade Pokemon, you and the other player must be within 100 meters of each other.

It is important to note that Genesect Drives are not items that can be switched out like they are in the main series of Pokemon games. This means that once you trade for a Genesect with a Drive, it will be locked into that Drive forever.

There are four different Genesect Drives available in Pokemon Go:

  • Douse Drive (Water-type Techno Blast)
  • Shock Drive (Electric-type Techno Blast)
  • Burn Drive (Fire-type Techno Blast)
  • Chill Drive (Ice-type Techno Blast)

If you are unable to find a player to trade with, you can always wait until Niantic releases the other Genesect Drives in the game. However, there is no guarantee that this will happen anytime soon.

There are a few other ways that you could potentially get Genesect Drives in Pokemon Go in the future:

  • Niantic could release Genesect Drives as rewards for completing special research tasks or events.
  • Niantic could add Genesect Drives to the in-game shop.
  • Niantic could give Genesect Drives as gifts to players who reach certain milestones in the game, such as reaching Level 50 or completing the Pokédex.
