Rodea: The Sky Soldier Heading to North America, Europe

NIS America made a few game announcements at an event last night, and among those games was Rodea: The Sky Soldier. The upcoming 3DS and Wii U action game will be localized and released in North America and Europe later this year.

Rodea puts players in the role of the titular protagonist as he attempts to protect the sky kingdom of Garuda from invading forces. Most of the action takes place in the air, and players must fly through the environments and carefully maneuver around enemies.

Development of Rodea originally started on the Wii, but developer Prope shifted platforms to 3DS and Wii U and announced a 2015 Japanese release. Now NIS America will handle localization duties for the western release.

Rodea: The Sky Solider hits stores this Fall in North America and Europe. Prospective buyers can watch the first official trailer here.
