Xbox One to Get Native Xbox 360 Backward Compatibility

You read that right. Microsoft has announced that beginning this holiday season, Xbox One owners will be able to run select Xbox 360 games natively on their Xbox One.

It's better than the original experience, too. Some games will have improved performance, and many of the Xbox One's features, such as screenshot and video capture, will be supported.

This feature will be available to Xbox Preview members starting this month, but won't be introduced formally until later this year with support of around 100 games. 

Mass Effect was demonstrated running on Xbox One during Microsoft's E3 2015 Press Conference. You can see how it ran below:
