With the stunning announcement that Shenmue has been revived, and Shenmue 3 is indeed in development, we couldn't help but pop in the Dreamcast original and see where it all began. Lan Di, man, what a son of a bitch, am I right?
I hope he finally gets his in Shenmue 3.
I'm actually not in the driver's seat though. Janelle's playing it and I'm just kinda watching her reactions and fondly remembering my own original playthough over this game well over a decade ago. While I have much nostalgia for it, I don't actually want to go through the whole thing again. I will, however pick up Shenmue 2 again in the future, I think.
