Xbox Gamers Receiving Dead Black Ops 3 Beta Codes

Many Xbox One owners are currently reporting issues with the Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta; namely that they can't access it because the code they received isn't working.

Developer Treyarch has since taken to Twitter to assure the Xbox community that Microsoft is currently on the case and working to remedy the situation.

Xbox Support has also chimed in on Twitter to confirm the issue is being looked into.

Are you currently dealing with a broken beta code? If so, feel free to lament in the comments below. I can understand the frustration felt by Xbox-loyal gamers who've been with the Call of Duty franchise over the years. If you bought an Xbox One under the assumption that Microsoft's exclusive partnership with Activision would continue throughout this generation, I feel for you.

Our own game-streaming extraordinaire, Anthony LaBella, has played quite a bit of the beta on PlayStation 4 already. Be sure to check out the archived footage of his livestream.
