Katamari Damacy Rolling onto PlayStation Vita

Rolled up along with the more than 100 games already in development for the PlayStation Vita, Katamari Damacy has been announced by Namco Bandai for the handheld. To suit the new controls for the system, it will "use the console's unique front touch screen and rear touch pad to bring fingertip control to the series for the same time".

Playing as the lovable Prince of All Cosmos once again, you will collect all the bits and bobs and junk of the universe, from "humble little ants to the volcanic grandeur of Mount Fuji", into clean celestial objects in the sky. Through self-described "levels of gently lunacy", you will roll the Katamari with the familiar front touch screen (as if it were an iPhone, really) but now with the rear touch pad, you can "stretch the ball either horizontally or vertically to pick up more objects at once or squeeze through a narrow gap".
