Deus Ex Developer Adds 100 Employees

If you didn't already know, Deus Ex: Human Revolution developer Eidos Montreal was formed for one express purpose… to develop Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Clearly that project did very well for the studio and for Square Enix which had seen a slump unlike any other thanks to less than stellar reception of their core Japanese license library.

With millions of copies of DXHR moved to gamers everywhere, Eidos Montreal is adding 100 new employees to its stable for a brand new project. In addition, Square Enix is planning on opening a brand new studio called Square Enix Montreal with 150 job opportunities to be filled.

It's not every day you hear tell of game studios hiring more people. Generally finished products mean lay offs and the releasing of contracted employees. Just another piece of news to give thanks for this week!
