Bastion DLC Hits PC for Free and XBLA for One Dollar

Bastion's sidemissions were easily some of the most memorable sequences in gaming this year. Remember taking a hit of the pipe and passing out to find The Kid surrounded by gas bags and growing numbers of enemies?

Supergiant Games has announced that they'll be adding another sequence to Bastion for PC and Xbox 360 gamers titled The Stranger's Dream. On XBLA, the DLC will run $1, or 80 Microsoft Points. On the PC platform, the DLC is free.

I can't help but guess that it's Microsoft's prohibitively consumer-unfriendly practices that are causing this difference in price. Fuck that. I'd rather buy the game again from Supergiant direct or through the Chrome webstore than line the cauffers up in Redmond, WA.
