EA Lets Fans Choose Madden 12 Cover Athelete

For this year's release of EA Sports' flagship Madden series, Madden 12, fans will vote on which NFL player gets to grace the cover of the game's final box art. Starting today, fans can visit www.ESPN.com/MaddenVote to choose from 32 stand-out NFL stars. One player from each team will be entered in seeded bracket-style voting until the cover star is chosen on April 27th on ESPN's SportsNation.

Super Bowl XLV MVP Aaron Rodgers and last year's cover athlete Drew Brees are among the 32 star athletes. You can see the entire Madden 12 cover athlete bracket later today by tuning into ESPN's SportsNation at 4:00PM EST.

Making it on a Madden cover is a double-edged sword – it means you're one of the most recognizable athletes in the sport, but it also means you're likely to suffer from the dreaded "Madden curse". Let us know below who you will be voting for… and cursing.
